Emergencies
San Bernardino Urological
Associates provides 24 hour emergency coverage for our patients. In case
of emergency, as one of our patients, you can call our office number and
will be able to reach the urologist on call. We ask you to be considerate
to us and utilize the call line for true emergencies.
Appointments Our office is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays. All visits are by appointments only. We will try to see patients as soon as possible. Any patients who desire to be seen the same day because of an emergency will be seen that day. In case we cannot accommodate the patient, the Urologist will call the patient to decide the urgency of the medical condition. Wednesday is our main surgery day and we do not usually see patients in the office. Friday afternoons are reserved for emergency appointments only.
Insurance Policies We are Medicare Providers and will accept Medicare fee schedule. We are contracted with most of the Managed Care groups in the Inland Empire. If you are a managed care patient, we ask you to be patient with the referral and authorization system. In general after your initial visit, our office will get the follow-up referrals, whether it is a follow up visit, a radiographic examination or surgery. Please call us if you do not hear from us within 10-14 days. We do take Medi-Cal patients with Physician referrals. Also, unless you have made arrangements with the physicians, co-pay cannot be waived.
Medical Records Our office adheres to the strictest criteria when it comes to physician/patient confidentiality. Your medical records and medical conditions will not be released to anyone without your written authorization. Please do allow us a few days to copy your records when you request them.
