Clinical Trial and Research Programs |
Our clinical research and trial program was started in 1998, over the frustration of our advanced prostate cancer patients having to travel to UCLA for special treatment protocols. Since then, we have acquired both a great deal of experience and the reputation as a center of excellence in clinical research. We have been selected to participate in multiple trials sponsored by National Cancer Institute or major pharmaceutical and biotech companies. We have also agreed to be part of UCLA’s Community Prostate Cancer Group. |

In the last 7 years, we have conducted over 150 Phase I, II, III, and IV trials. SBURC (San Bernardino Urological Research Center) is one of the busiest urology research centers in Southern California. We have conducted multiple trials in the area of:
1. Prostate Cancer: multiple LHRH agonists
and antagonist including Eligard. |
Please call our Research Coordinator, Charity Hernandez if you have any questions or if you would like to participate in the trials @ 909-882-2973. Some of the studies do allow for patient compensations in addition to medication and medical care. Through these trial programs, we are able to deliver the most up to date urological care. Our patients have access to medications and treatment protocols that would otherwise be unavailable to them for years to come. |
